The Larick Campsite is brand new and landscaping is still in progress. This shouldn’t spoil your enjoyment of your visit to the campsite and Tayport.

Pitches

The site is compact with 32 pitches, all bar two are grass. Around the perimeter are 5 small powered pitches suitable for units up to 5.5m long and 11 larger powered pitches that can accommodate units up to 8m.

In the centre are 11 unpowered pitches that can accommodate units up to 6.5m. There are also two unpowered grass pitches especially for backpackers arriving without motor transport.

Pets

We welcome dogs, which are free, but there is a limit of two dogs per pitch. All dogs must be kept on a short lead whilst on the campsite, there are miles of walks for your dog on the adjoining common and beyond.

Local Amenities

Tayport is well provided for in shops, pubs and takeaways. Dundee, across the river, has the full range of shops and services that you expect from a large city.

Adjacent to the site is a small convenience store selling everyday items. In the town centre are three small supermarkets, one of which is also the post office, a butcher, a chemist, a hardware store that sells Calor gas, and several hairdressers.

Of the three pubs, two serve meals, one of which has a takeaway service.  There are also three other takeaways; a Fish Bar, Chinese and Indian.

The Harbour Café is an excellent spot to enjoy a coffee and cake with views out over the harbour and the Tay estuary.
